These terms and conditions apply to all purchases and sales, whether made through the website, by telephone or otherwise.
This User Agreement is effective on November 30th, 2013, for all users of this website. Because this agreement contains legal obligations, please read carefully before proceeding. Gold Metal Store, LLC is doing business as (dba) Gold Metal Store and will be referred to as Gold Metal Store hereafter.
Before you may place orders to purchase or sell with Gold Metal Store you must read and accept all of the terms and conditions in our user agreement. By using our website, you represent and warrant without limitation that you have read, understand, and agree to the terms of this agreement. If you do not agree or do not understand the terms of this agreement, disclaimers, disclosures, or any other supplemental information on your website then you must immediately leave the website.
Gold Metal Store reserves the right to make any necessary changes to its terms and conditions at any given time without notification and that you agree that we may change the terms at any time. Also, you agree that we may make any changes to the website at our sole discretion, for any reason without providing notice to you. If you use our website after we have posted a change to the terms and conditions, then you have agreed to the new terms and conditions that are present by the most recent version of your terms and conditions.

Gold Metal Store expresses no opinion on the soundness of any of your purchases. We do not offer recommendations as purchasing bullion and coins is speculative and unregulated and the contents of this website are just for reference use only and do not constitute the rendering of legal, financial, or investment advice. Purchasing bullion and coins can involve risks like most investments. The value of your bullion and coins can fluctuate up or down by various conditions and economic factors. Since investing in precious metals can be risky and the value of your bullion and coins can fluctuate drastically, purchasing these items may not be suitable for everyone. Gold Metal Store does not sell items as an investment but rather to provide joy to the many collectors that exist in the world. Order Policies and Procedures: Upon placing an order to buy or sell precious metals with Gold Metal Store you have entered into a binding and legally enforceable agreement. Availability and pricing are subject to change without notice.
Your credit card or debit card information is required to guarantee all orders, in order to reserve and lock in a price. By making a purchase on our site, you expressly authorize Gold Metal Store to authorize and capture your credit or debit card payment prior to shipment.
Minimum Order Policy: The minimum order for free shipping is $2000, any order under $2000 will be charged a flat rate of $50.
Minimum Phone Order Policy: When placing an order over the phone, the minimum amount required is $1000.
Payment Options: Gold Metal Store requires that all payments be made by PayPal, Bitcoin, credit card, debit card, bank wire, personal check, certified check, cashier’s check, or online bill payments in check form. Direct Bank wire is always recommended for orders over $5,000. Gold Metal Store does not accept cash on delivery orders. Gold Metal Store reserves the right to cancel orders where payment is not dated within five (5) business days for all check orders and bank wire orders. In order to guarantee the price that you locked in, your payment must be received by Gold Metal Store within those five business days. In most instances, orders will be denied if payment is completed after the allotted time frame. If we choose to accept your late payment, a $30 late payment fee will be applied. Gold Metal Store reserves the right to hold and wait for the clearing of all personal checks, certified checks, cashier’s checks, or online bill payments in check form for up to ten (10) business days prior to shipping out items. In the instance of a bounced paper check payment, you will be required to send us a new check with $30 added to the original total to cover the bounced check fee and Gold Metal Store reserves the right to cancel the order and charge cancellation fees, or bill the payable balance to the credit/debit card on file.
Chargeback Policy: You agree not to file a credit card or debit card chargeback regarding any purchase and abide by the dispute resolution procedures listed. In the event that you breach this agreement and file a chargeback, upon a resolution in our favor of the chargeback by either the credit card issuing bank, the credit card processor or by VISA, MASTERCARD, or DISCOVER, you agree to reimburse us for any costs incurred in researching and responding to such chargeback, including without limitation, our actual costs paid to the credit card processor or our banks, other third parties, and the reasonable value of the time of our employees and owners spent on the matter, as determined in our discretion in good faith. You further agree that all dispute resolution procedures below will be deemed waived by you, and that these amounts will be added to the original amount of the order, and that this total amount will then be immediately due and payable. If your chargeback is upheld, you agree to pay all of the same costs, in addition to the original purchase price.
Cancellation Policy: Due to the volatile nature of the bullion market, all gold and diamonds bullion sales are final. The customer enters into a legally binding agreement once the order is submitted and confirmed, and may not cancel or modify their order afterward. If the customer still insists upon cancellation after the order is placed, the 10% deposit held for check/wire orders WILL be collected. If the customer paid by card or Paypal, a 10% fee will be charged to their source of payment and they will be refunded the other 90%.
Documentation: Gold Metal Store reserves the right to request additional documentation for certain credit card orders or any other orders. Gold Metal Store expressly reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order, for any reason, at its sole discretion, regardless of the payment method and price confirmation.
Return Policy: At Gold Metal Store we provide all of our customers with a refund, return or exchange policy on all the items that we sell. The right is limited to seven (7) days from the date on which the customer has received the products from us. You must notify Gold Metal Store Customer Service Department within seven (7) business days from the date that you receive the item and follow the instructions provided to you, at that time. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. You are fully responsible for all taxes, as well as return shipping and handling costs. The customer must make sure to carefully package and provide tracking information for the product that they are returning and the customer will assume the full cost of return shipping. Gold Metal Store may reject any returned or exchanged item that does not reasonably conform to these terms. In the case where a customer requests to exchange an item, Gold Metal Store expressly reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion to find an acceptable replacement or refund your money should an acceptable replacement be unavailable. Gold Metal Store, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to reject any returns or exchanges that do not comply with the requirements listed above.
Gold Metal Store does charge 10% of the total purchase price as a restocking fee on all orders that are returned. Also, when returning bullion products, the customer may be required to pay additional market loss penalties on item returns at the discretion of Gold Metal Store. If market gains were to be incurred on a refund, those gains shall remain the property of Gold Metal Store.
Collections Expense: In the event that Gold Metal Store has to take any action against a customer in order to enforce your obligations under this User Agreement, including, without limitation, turning your account over to a collection agency or a lawyer for collection, the customer shall have to pay all of the costs and the expenses incurred by Gold Metal Store including without limitation, reasonable attorney fees, in connection with such actions.
Shipping: Gold Metal Store normally ships with the United States Postal Service (USPS), but may at its discretion choose to use a different shipping provider.
Gold Metal Store strives to protect your shipments by being discreet with our shipping labels and do not disclose or give any indication that contents inside the package contain valuable precious metals. When your items are shipped you will receive an email confirmation along with tracking information for your shipment. We do not ship to any forwarding facilities, drop locations, or non-USPS mail services such as UPS stores, Mail Boxes, etc.
All PayPal orders require both the billing and shipping addresses to be verified and confirmed.
Gold Metal Store provide insurance for free on every package. Our insurance will only be covered if the item is lost or damaged in transit. We will not be responsible if the package tracking information shows as delivered. Once the item shows that it was delivered as promised as per our tracking information, we are no longer liable for our insurance policy and it is the customer’s responsibility at that point. When we ship the items to you, if the items are damaged or lost in transit, we will accept full responsibility and pursue any claims with our insurance policy. If an item is lost in transit we reserve the right at our own discretion to reship your item or provide you with a refund.
Please note that Gold Metal Store will not be responsible for reimbursements or insurance claims on packages that are successfully delivered as addressed. Our liability and insurance cease the moment the package is signed for or left at the specified delivery address.
Pricing: All prices quoted on our website are in U.S. Dollars. While we work hard to ensure that all of our inventory and prices are current, discrepancies may occur at times due to product availability and changing market conditions, as well as typographical errors. Most of our products are bullion products which are constantly changing in price. As a result, the final prices of your items will be determined at the time of checkout where you will have 3 minutes to complete the checkout process or the prices will then readjust after that 3-minute interval has elapsed.
We strive hard to assure the accuracy and information of the products and pricing that we provide on our site. However, pricing or typographical errors may occur at times and in the event that an item is priced improperly due to an error in pricing or information of the product. Gold Metal Store shall have the right at its sole discretion to cancel or refuse any orders placed on any item. We will notify you via email of such cancellation and do apologize if situations like this arise.
In addition to the other rights and remedies available to Gold Metal Store, in the event of any failure by you to comply with this User Agreement, Gold Metal Store reserves the right to charge the credit card which you have provided to Gold Metal Store including, without limitation, any and all market losses incurred by Gold Metal Store including cancellation fees for accepting your orders to either buy from or sell to us as a result of price and market fluctuations for which you did not fulfill. You expressly authorize Gold Metal Store to charge your credit card for all of such amounts.
Account Settings and Password: When you register and create a profile with Gold Metal Store, you will be asked to create a password that will be used to access our website to be able to purchase products. It is your responsibility to keep your username and password confidential and when registering, you are designating that you are solely responsible for all activities and transactions that occur under your username and password. Customers should use caution when accessing their account from a public or shared computer so that your password and personal information are not viewable to others. Make sure you fully exit from your account at the end of each session so that unauthorized use of your account is not breached. Gold Metal Store will not be liable for any damages or losses that may arise from your failure to comply with the provisions above.

Gold Metal Store delay or failure to perform such obligation shall be excused and Gold Metal Store shall not be liable for any damages as a result of, or in connection with, such delay or failure to complete the transaction.
Termination of Use: Gold Metal Store reserves the right and sole discretion to suspend or terminate access to or part of its website at its discretion without any notice or reason. Once suspended or terminated from the use of our website, your right to use our site ceases immediately. Gold Metal Store will not be liable to the customer or any third party for any damages or claims arising from the termination or suspension of your account. Also, any fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity may be referred to appropriate law enforcement authorities at our discretion.
Payment Method Options: We accept numerous forms of payment methods. Please make sure to read and follow all the terms of your payment method of choice to ensure that all orders are handled accordingly.
In-Store Pickups: In-store pickups are not permitted when paying with a credit card or PayPal on Gold Metal Store. For orders paid by check or bank wire, Gold Metal Store requires the buyer to call us before coming in to receive the items at our retail location for all in-store pick-up orders.
Credit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards are all accepted forms of payment and will be needed in order to lock in any transaction, including on wire transfers or check orders. We do not electronically store credit card information, for security reasons. Please be mindful that all credit card orders must have the same billing and shipping address to successfully place an order. If you’d like to have your package shipped to a different address, please process the order with the check/wire, or Bitcoin payment option. In-store pickups are not permitted when buying with credit cards on Gold Metal Store.
Bitcoin: We accept Bitcoin as a payment method. When paying with Bitcoin, a discount of 3% is applied from the item’s full price. Our current maximum order for bitcoin is $50,000. All customers are subject to provide additional verification to confirm identity.
Wire Transfer: We accept wire transfers on orders totaling over $2,000. When paying with a wire or a check, a discount of 4% is applied from the item’s full price. The maximum transaction amount for online wire transfer orders cannot exceed $750,000. All orders totaling above $750,000 need to be placed via bank wire during Gold Metal Stores’ business hours (Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Eastern Time) with one of our traders. A 10% credit card deposit is required to be placed on all wire transfer purchases. The billing address of the credit card deposit must match the transaction shipping address. The deposit is used to lock-in the price (is non-refundable in case the buyer backs out from the transaction) and must be made with one of the accepted credit cards listed above. All wire transfers must be received within three (3) business days of placing the transaction. If wire payment is not received within three (3) business days after the order was placed, then Gold Metal Store reserves the right to forfeit the 10% deposit, and your order and lock in price will be canceled. If there are any additional losses as a result of nonpayment that exceed the 10% deposit, the customer will be liable for those losses as well and will be charged accordingly using the credit card that was left on file for the deposit. The name of the account holder and recipient of the shipping address MUST match the name of the sender that initiated the bank wire transfer. If the name does not match, we may ask for additional information to verify your account, or may result in canceling your order. The Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Program does not allow the receipt of money from outside of the US, therefore we are unable to accept international wire transfer payments. If an international wire payment is sent, the payment will be rejected and sent back to the sender. Please note, ACH Transfers are not wire transfers and will not be accepted as a payment method. Customers may be required to provide additional verification to confirm identity. Thank you for your understanding.
A wire transfer discount will be applied to all orders and will be calculated in your cart total at checkout. Some items are not eligible for wire discounts and we reserve the right to refuse the wire discount under certain circumstances.
Checks: There is a minimum of $300 and a maximum of $25,000 on all orders paid for by the personal, bank, and cashier’s checks as well as online bill payments in check form. When paying with a personal, bank, and cashier’s check as well as online bill payments in check form, a discount of 4% is applied from the item’s full price. A 10% deposit with a valid credit card will be required for all personal, bank, and cashier’s checks as well as online bill payments in check form at the point of sale. We expect all payments to be received within ten days. The order will be canceled and the 10% deposit will be forfeited if we do not receive the payment within 10 days from the date of the order and are not informed by you of a delay. Please note, we understand that check payments may take about a week to arrive through regular mail, however, if there was a delay in mailing out your check or you notice the check taking longer than usual to be delivered, please let us know. If there are any additional losses as a result of nonpayment that exceed the 10% deposit, the customer will be liable for those losses as well and will be charged accordingly to the credit card that was left on file for the deposit. Please note, we do not accept ACH Transfers and money orders as payment methods. Customers may be required to provide additional verification to confirm identity.
Personal, bank, and cashier’s check, as well as online bill payments in check form, can delay shipment up to 5-10 business days until payment has fully cleared. All checks are held for up to 10 business days after the check is received for clearance prior to shipment of the order.
Payment for all personal, bank, and cashier’s check as well as online bill payments in check form must be postmarked no later than two (2) business days after your order is submitted.
We do not accept any cash advance checks or any checks that are related to credit cards.
When paying with VISA, MASTERCARD, OR DISCOVER, please make sure your billing address is the same as the shipping address.
